Thai way to balance

What does a massage look like at our salon?

The massage is performed on a special massage table, with the client remaining in their underwear or in clothing provided by us. We offer either disposable underwear or special clothing for clients, depending on their preference. The masseuse uses not only their hands but also elbows, knees, feet, and the weight of their body to achieve maximum relaxation and stretching.

Is Thai massage painful?

Thai massage can be more intense than traditional oil massages because it involves stretching and applying pressure to deeper layers of muscles. However, the masseuse will always adjust the pressure according to your needs and preferences. If you experience any discomfort or pain, it is important to inform the masseuse immediately.

Is Thai massage suitable for all age groups?

Thai massage is generally suitable for children, adults, and seniors, as it can be tailored to the individual needs of each client. However, it is important to always consider your health condition. If you have any health issues, such as cardiovascular problems, inflammation, or if you have recently suffered an injury, we recommend you to consult a doctor about the suitability of massage.

We kindly ask and strongly recommend you to read our Guidelines on Contraindications, where you can find a list of situations in which massage is not appropriate and therefore not performed. You can find these guidelines below.

  • Elevated body temperature (above 37°C), which may indicate an infection or other health issue.

  • Symptoms of an infectious disease (e.g., cough, cold, sore throat)

  • Inflammation in the body

  • Injury of the abdominal cavity

  • Bleeding

  • Fractures, cracks, or bone breaks (including those recently healed without medical approval)

  • Dislocation, sprain, acute joint inflammation, infectious arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, purulent joint diseases, or joint trauma

  • Heart disease

  • Uncontrolled or untreated high blood pressure. If you have hypertension, we recommend consulting your doctor before the massage.

  • Uncontrolled diabetes

  • Skin conditions (e.g., eczema, infection, fungi)

  • Chronic open wounds. Small surface abrasions may not be a contraindication if not infected.

  • Infectious diseases (e.g., hepatitis, HIV, chills)

  • Post-surgical wounds that are not fully healed.

  • Inflammation of veins (e.g., thrombophlebitis)

How to prepare for a massage?

Before the massage, it’s ideal to eat only a light meal and drink plenty of water. Arrive on time and in comfortable clothing that you can easily remove.

  1. Hydration is Key
Drink plenty of water after your massage. This will help flush out toxins that may have been released during the massage and support your body’s natural regeneration.
  2. Take Time to Rest
Allow your body and mind to relax after the massage. Avoid intense physical activity or stressful situations – this will extend the positive effects of the treatment.
  3. Eat Light Before and After the Massage
It’s best to have a light meal two hours before your massage. Afterward, enjoy a nutritious but light meal to avoid overloading your digestive system.
  4. Listen to Your Body
Everyone reacts to a massage differently. If you feel tired, give yourself time to rest. If you feel energized, use it for activities that you enjoy and find fulfilling.
  5. Consistency Brings Results
A single massage will refresh you, but regular visits can improve flexibility, reduce tension, and support your overall well-being.
  6. Communicate with Us
Do you have any questions or special requests? Let us know. We’re happy to accommodate your needs and ensure you feel as comfortable as possible.

Can I be completely naked during a Thai massage?

During a traditional Thai massage, you remain clothed, but at our salon, the standard is to wear only your underwear. A bra can be uncomfortable and restrictive during the massage, so we recommend removing it if you’re comfortable with that. We ensure that the massage takes place in the most comfortable conditions, with the utmost respect for you as well as for the masseuse. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If you are concerned about your underwear getting stained with massage oil, please let us know, and we will be happy to provide you with disposable underwear.

How can you pay?
